Grothe doorbell and safety transformers are fundamentally protected with a PTC that disconnects the transformer in the event of a short circuit or overload. All transformers meet the highest environmental protection requirements, are tested according to EN61558-2-6:2010 and are certified. The transformer is ideal for continuous operation and can be mounted on a flat surface. It bears the ENEC mark. An optional cover set for the transformer includes two cover flaps as well as a mounting rail and fixing material, so that using the covers achieves protection class IP20. Note: After a short circuit, the primary side is disconnected from the mains (for at least 1 minute). Accessories (order separately): Cover mounting kit – includes two cover flaps to achieve IP20 protection class, plus a mounting rail and fixing material for surface mounting, see art. no. 14954.
