Producer Item No: 7440
Type: SKYLINE PROXIMITY READER V
Brief description of the product:
Modular 125KHz transponder card reader, configurable as autonomous, AC+ centralized, Wiegand 26 or Data/Clock. For combination with other controllers.
Reader that allows the door to be opened by placing a transponder card or transponder key close to it. The device can only be used by authorized cards or key fobs. No physical contact is required.
Transponder reader that, thanks to the configuration of the dipswitches (SW2) it contains, can operate in an autonomous or centralized system.
• Configuration - autonomous.
• Allows up to 400 user cards or key fobs.
• Reader and controller integrated in the same module.
• Configuration centralized as MDS-AC Plus.
• Proximity reader with a capacity of up to:
• 1020 user cards/key fobs with MDS central unit (ref. 2405).
• 2048 user cards/keyfobs with AC Plus central unit (ref. 4410).
• Reader and controller integrated in the same module.
• Configuration centralized with Wiegand 26 or Data/Clock protocol.
• When the reader is started, if it is in the mode:
• Wiegand-26, the "+" LED lights up for 1 second.
• Data/Clock, the "-" LED lights up for 1 second.
• Proximity reader capacity up to:
• 1020 user cards/keyfobs with MDS central unit (ref. 2405).
• 2048 user cards/keyfobs with AC Plus central unit (ref. 4410).
• A door controller (ref. 4420) is required for connection and operation.
• Acoustic and visual confirmation via LEDs indicating the acceptance or rejection of the presented card.
• Access control module that connects to SKYLINE and CITYLINE video door stations.
• Recommended for indoor and outdoor use.
Detailed description:
• AUTONOMOUS technical features:
• Does not require physical contact with the transponder card. Reading distance 5 cm (card) or 1.5 cm (key fob).
• Acoustic and visual information of operations.
• Manual or computer programming (enrollment/deletion of card) is very easy.
• Door sensor control and exit button
• Relay output.
• Activation of door opening with a programmable time relay. Programmable from 1 to 99 sec.
• Signal LED (assistance in programming and status).
• Autonomous programming – this can be done in three ways:
• With Master Card.
• Private programming keyboard.
• PC software.
• MDS-AC Plus CENTRALIZED technical features: -
• It does not require physical contact with the transponder card. Reading distance 5 cm (card) or 1.5 cm (key fob). - Acoustic and visual information of operations.
• Door opener button input, door sensor input and door opener relay (C, NO, NC, potential-free).
• Reader wiring – central unit: 2 cores (power supply) + shielded twisted pair (data). In a multi-reader installation, they can be cascaded.
• It has a dip switch (SW1) that can be used to configure:
• Door number (switches 1...5): access/door number (0...31).
• Switch 6: No function.
• Door opening time (switches 7...8): depending on the installation:
• Door opening time (sec.) in MDS.
• In AC Plus software configuration (switches without function).
• Connection CN3: Keyboard connector.
• Door openers can be connected directly to the reader and a relay decoder can be used for maximum security installation.
• Centralized programming Programming is done from the PC software corresponding to the installed central unit (ref. 2405 or ref. 4410).
• Centralized technical characteristics with Wiegand 26 or Data/Clock protocol:
• It does not require physical contact with the transponder card. Reading distance 5 cm (card) or 1.5 cm (key fob).
• Acoustic and visual information of the operations.
• Wiegand (WG) or Data/Clock readers allow the installation to be provided with greater anti-sabotage security, as they do not connect the door opening mechanism or the exit button connection to the reader. All devices are connected to the door controller and are therefore out of reach of manipulation. The door controller is installed inside (security zone) and the reader outside.
• The reader can be used with other door controllers that use the Wiegand 26 (WG) or Data/Clock protocol.
• Wiring: 7 wires to the door controller.
• For more information, see the Door Controller Technical Characteristics section.
• Centralized programming Programming is done from the PC software corresponding to the installed central unit (ref. 2405 or ref. 4410).
